About the Position

The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.

• Conduct consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans for patients with GI conditions.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and other related diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with the hospital's surgical and oncology teams for the management of complex cases.
• Participate in the development and implementation of care protocols and guidelines.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
• Engage in community outreach and education efforts as needed.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in endoscopic procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
