The role would primarily focus on meeting the needs in the outpatient setting with a strong referral base, large employer-health clinic and very little GI competition. Inpatient load would be minimized by highly-skilled and engaged 24/7 hospitalists who manage all the admissions and discharges. Call burden would be capped to no more than 1:6 and inpatient consults tailored to the outpatient schedule.
