Clinical Pediatric Gastroenterologist (Full-time or Part-time)
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Mass General for Children (MGfC) invites applications for a full-time or part-time appointment as an Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor to join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers. The successful candidate will have earned an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent and be BC/BE in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
As a candidate for the Clinician Expertise and Innovation Track, the applicant must have expertise in outpatient clinical activities, inpatient attending responsibilities, and teaching and mentorship of students, residents, and pediatric gastroenterology trainees. Experience and/or interest in GI motility is preferred. The division is in the process of expanding its subspecialty clinics, and the candidate will have the opportunity to develop a subspecialty niche depending on his/her area of interest and/or expertise. Applicants interested in leadership positions may have the opportunity to develop this interest.
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition consists of twenty-three successfully established pediatric gastroenterologists and three nurse practitioners, providing care to patients representing the entire spectrum of GI conditions. The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition provides patient and family centered care to its large patient base and includes five dieticians and three psychiatrists/clinical psychologists. MGfC offers the dual advantage of a children’s hospital (including an 18 bed NICU, a 14 bed PICU and a 6 bed Pediatric Emergency Department) within the internationally renowned Massachusetts General Hospital, consistently ranked as one of the best general hospitals in the world. Pediatric gastroenterologists and other pediatric specialists benefit from a vast campus with outstanding clinical resources and research activities within the Mass General Brigham system, the largest health care network operating within the greater Boston area.
Interested candidates should send curriculum vitae and a brief letter outlining their interests to:
