Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition includes a growing faculty of 18 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers, practicing at the Loma Linda University Hospital and Riverside University Health System hospital. Due to unprecedented growth in regional health care needs, the Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Gastroenterology, is seeking full-time board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologists to join our team. Opportunities are available in the following areas.
General Gastroenterology
Three current opportunities in General Gastroenterology are available at Loma Linda University Medical Center campus and at our partner system Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley. Clinical duties at both locations are a balance of outpatient clinic and endoscopy, with some potential for inpatient coverage.
Gastroenterologist Hospitalist
Two GI Hospitalist will alternate on the inpatient service every other week, with existing faculty also being a part of this rotation. Only 3 days of outpatient duties will be required on the off weeks, and weekend coverage will be minimized as much as possible. Alternative schedules are also available. The inpatient service is consultative-only, supported by a fellow and resident team. Consultative care focuses on general gastroenterology illnesses, complementing separate hepatology and pancreaticobiliary consult services.
Gastroenterologist – Motility Specialist
Clinical expertise in Motility is desired for this opportunity, including esophageal HRM, impedance, Endoflip, anorectal manometry, and biofeedback. Mentorship and protected time will be provided for career development. Academic productivity is encouraged and supported, but grant funding is not required for the position.
Gastroenterologist – Interventional
Riverside University Health System Medical Center is seeing an interventional gastroenterologist to augment our growing need. Established capabilities for Interventional Gastroenterology include POEM, Endoscopic suturing, ESD, Spyglass, Hybrid APC among others. Onsite research assistance is available for clinical and population-based research including RCTs. Our medicine and surgical partners as well as the administration are extremely supportive and eager to grow the interventional program at RUHS and are willing to commit the necessary resources to establish a successful program. Dedicated anesthesia coverage available.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $360,000 - $425,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
