Academic Clinical Gastroenterologist

ACADEMIC CLINICAL GASTROENTEROLOGIST (3-309-1147)– The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Baltimore VA Medical Center (BVAMC) is recruiting a general gastroenterologist to provide clinical services at the University of Maryland Downtown and Midtown Campuses and at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.  Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.  We offer competitive salary and benefits. 

This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting.  Successful candidates must possess superior clinical and endoscopic skills and be BC/BE in Gastroenterology.  A record of clinical investigation is highly desirable, and applicants must be U.S. citizens.
